She had the option. She wasn't sure. Android still needs to win her over. It all works out perfectly, since she absolutely has to have a keyboard, she'll take the Moment as soon as the Evo drops. I'm just afraid that we'll be waiting another 5 months for it.

I have been maried for 17 years and when the EVO 4G gets released I am getting it and my wife is getting my Moment. But I get my phones for free from work and she gets my old ones, and has never complained. She is rocking my old TP2 now and loves it.

Yeah but you don't go out with her girlfriends and hear what kinda talk they have in the girlfriend network! HA HA

I'm merely suggesting that generally the woman gets the new things, like the car and such and the husband gets hand me downs..

so what you do to be smart is buy her the car you want! HAHA

Hey, can someone give me a quick intruction on how to replace to boot image...couldn't quite get it from the instructions on the other page, and I can't find the png's to the image shady posted.

Think I figured it out...didn't know you needed SDK. Just gonna use Shady's apple to android gif for now.

Ok, got it to work. Now my questions are...is it supposed to continue loop til load and is there a way to stop it?

I finally downloaded and check out Wireless Tether 2.0-pre7 ... wow - that is an APP!!!

Worth rooting my phone for this feature alone... thanks for the tip.

i downloaded wireless tether also but how do you install it on your phone. when i put it on my moment i cant find the file even when i got to the folder i put it in. any ideas?

You need to download App Installer from Market in order to install APK files that you have on your phone.

Actually, as long as you have a file explorer (I use ES File Explorer), you can install non-Market apps without installing anything else.

Settings -> Applications -> Unknown Sources

If you check the box, you can then use the file explorer to navigate to and install third party APK files on the SD card.

Does ES File Explorer come on your phone or do you still have to download it from Market? Either way it will work, he's just not able to install it without a third party app, right?

Today I was able to remove mute and speaker from in coming calls I always seem to click one or the other When Talking on phone.
