Re: Windows Mobile 6.5 on i760

I am currently working on a i760 wm6.5 kitchen i have successfully flashed it to my device but it bricked. i have already installed wm6.1 before flashing but i used the pass boot (right soft key, clr button, soft reset) to reinstall 6.1 using my custom rom in the C:/windows/temp folder. I based my rom on this http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=54678 i will hopefully have it up by sunday night, but this is a busy weekend. ill post back tomorrow

Re: Windows Mobile 6.5 on i760

I too can't wait to update my i760 to 6.5.

I also updated my phone to Sams 6.1 and don't want to brick it.

Thanks.

Re: Windows Mobile 6.5 on i760

I think that I would be a little nervous to put my trust in a program that I built, and think that it wouldn't brick my phone. There has to be some way to do this...

Re: Windows Mobile 6.5 on i760

I'd love to see this and more fan/user based support.. We can't leave this great lil phone abandoned and used as a paperweight.. It still has so much potential if not just as much as the HTC Mogul has/had..

Hey that's a start!! Did you find any help here?

I've seen lots of threads of people like me looking to update the i760. I bet if someone succeeds, there will be a 1000+ post thread in a few days!

Thanks! Keep us posted.
