Re: A Few Questions

Just a FEW more questions:

-Is there a GPS reliant Weather App or something?
-Is there any way to have a prominent clock?
-Can the battery display show percentage remaining?
-Is there a better picture speed dial setup?

To be truthful, I love the TP2's setup. I'd like to recreate as much as that as possible, as in giant clock/program launch, picture speed dial without turning a wheel, dedicated text/email, weather, music, and internet.

Re: A Few Questions

I found a widget that shows it, but I'd prefer replacing the top one. I also think there are plenty of clocks in the app store, I just checked.

from the reviews people liked the speed dial app but everyone has their preferences...There are other speed dial apps but what exactly are you looking for?

There are ways to do the battery percent thing...but I cant 100% tell you if it works with TouchWiz or not..it should but I dont want to say 100% if I dont have the phone lol

anything else?

Re: A Few Questions

Are you familiar with the TP2 one? It just has a bunch of faces sitting there. I hated the TP because you had to scroll first, then poke their head haha.

Right now I'm just wondering about the GPS Weather, backing up the whole phone (not just contacts), and if it can handle a ton of SMS. I assume it does MMS, right?

Ah, and thank you for the battery percentage link!

Well if you saw that video I posted of fancy widget it had the weather built into the clock just like HTC has..and GPS was on the menu so I guess the answer is yes..

As for backing up..you can backup most things by syncing to gmail or other things..there is no shortage of backup apps as well...
example: http://matrixrewriter.com/android/

As for SMS I dont see why not, remember the reason why our TP2 goes slow with SMS is due to manilla...

Re: A Few Questions

Ah good work. I don't call on it either but yea it's the built in one that lists like 9 faces.

And I did not look at the video, I suppose I will have to.

As for backups, yea I was just wondering if there was a program that would re-install every program, etc. I'm lazy with that stuff. And lastly, yea I forget Manilla ruins texts and e-mails. I can't wait for this new phone.
