WM 6.5 is Official.....Yet not available - Page 30

So it looks like the 6.5 released today is the same thing as the beta I tried out MONTHS ago on my old Touch Pro...

Why are we getting THAT? Why aren't we getting something along the lines of this?

It seems like we're getting something that is months old, and I don't understand why.

wow...they were pretty harsh in that article. i personally don't feel that way about 6.5, but i can see where they're comin from. A lot of long time windows mobile users are so tired of the lame upgrades that microsoft have put out over the past few years. It's like we see the potential is there and it's so close, but microsoft keeps coming up short.

Regardless of what they said...I've been using 6.5 for the past few months and i'm very happy with it. I can't wait to get it on my tp2

In a way I see the opposite. WinMo has been perfectly fine for me for years, I think people feel something has to look all cool to be good (blame the iphone). I'll take useability/flexibility any day over foo-foo look how cool I look interfaces.

After using custom 6.5 ROMs on my TP I can honestly say I have no complaints with the OS. Some want it to be pretty, I say who cares.

who called it???
personally I don't want wm 6.5...I want my 6.5.1 back and CFAY is offering a rom for that so I would be intrigued to see what CFAY can do with 6.5.1 and manila 2.5 IMHO
but yeah called it =)

you did, but the technically the 6th is still here. so you have to wait till 00:01:00 to say " i tols you so"

so what your saying is our chances of getting the HardSPL and flashing a 6.5 ROM is better then getting the "official" update.

It's lame that people are actually happy it hasn't come out yet and hoping it doesn't come out today so they can "be right".
