no i, for one, am not burnt out. i was merely curious to what the status was and wanted everyone's feedback regarding what was going on behind their closed doors.

It still seems like the end-users are the one's who are the most fired up, but the developers have failed to really comment deeply and frankly.

it almost seems as though the Development forum is a mock setup in order to appease the audience while the real work goes on under the radar. I'm sure all can understand why this would occur when they remember what happened to the bombarded Colonel threads, etc.
I don't believe the developers are obliged to comment about anything. The idea behind the separate forum is to give the developers breathing room while they work their magic.

This is not easy work. It's very time-consuming, and it's a lot more difficult if you have people constantly bombarding you with questions.

The question is, do you want your questions answered or do you want a functional ROM kitchen?

Perhaps we need to assign someone to be the project "PR" person so the general forum membership will have information without interrupting the team.

What do you all think?
I think a PR person would be a good idea, at least to inform everyone else what is going one. Simply post a topic in the Apache forum and then provide updates as they become available. Problem is that this topic was posted on the inside. I agree with you that the developers need their room to work, otherwise you will have what happened with verizionguy and colonel where they make these great ROMs and people will start demanding changes.

And wow...the post above me was huge! I think it might be worth about 1000 PPC cash!!!
Are you volunteering, James?
