and for the RECORD, we ARE using the kitchen helmi gave us to do the 3.5.

Theve values have neither been set nor changed by anybody {imcokeman or myself} that have adapted the kitchen from that recieved by helmi.
It was my phone that was the problem, even reverted to 2.2 for returning and it would never idle the EV-DO and 300mA averages. The replacement is working great again.

ok.. good, and thanks for the report back.

We had opened this as a possible error on the phone.

I think mine eats batteries too much too.....

But mine, is probably just teh count of re-flashes.. snicker.

Not sure if everyone knows this, but someone did testing a while back that showed that touching the screen for input rather than using the joystick or buttons uses a lot more battery power. I started making a concious effort to hit the soft buttons or use the joystick when possible instead of touching the screen, and it really has made a big difference.

Just wanted to share.

Yeah it was odd. I still would not load the heartbeat settings, since the defaults are fine (and having none in the registry is the default).

One other thing I was noticing on the defective phone as of late was when I touch the battery icon, half the time i would get "unknown" and I would have to hit it again or twice more to see the percentage. Using the same battery on the new one, it always shows the battery percentage.

ok.. we chalk this issue to a bad battery, or phone, and await more feedback or calling of attention. battery usage adjusted by user usage, isnt a rom question. But a bad setting most assuredly is.

I do HOWEVER propose a change to the registry as part of the load.

BT A2DP, really must have the Priority256 setting made in the registry to be worth using at all. I always load it with my personal settings.

While this doesnt eliminate skipping with the 3.5 rom, it most assuredly makes it more tolerable. feedback and votes appreciated.

I vote that someone gives me a BT stereo headset. Then I will vote yes.

Anybody have any problems with calendar reminders disappearing off the screen very quickly (even without being dismissed)??? I vaguely remember seeing someone complain about that in a thread, and I just had it happen to me.

Happens to me as well. Not a very common error, but it will vibrate and the sound will play, then the reminder just minimizes itself without any input from me.

I have noticed that with sprint, once I make a connection, it shows that it stays connected. This is normally not bad until you try and make another VPN type connection over top of this. Both my mNotes and MSTSC tries to make a vpn connection, and it will not do so until I reset the main connection first. Anyone else seen this?
