Graphics Acceleration...

Anybody out there know how to get more acceleration out of a ppc's onboard graphics processor without overclocking the CPU? Just curious, because I have am using TCPMP, and I can play virtually any media file I have a codec for well with the exception of .mkv files, and I thought if I could accelerate the independent graphics processor, this might make things run more smoothly
