Windows Vista TF3D Theme
I have received a number of requests for this theme throughout various threads, so I decided to create a new one and make it available for all to download.
There are a number of steps involved, but it's really not that bad, it should take all of about 2 minutes to get it up and running. The Zip file which contains all of the files you need is located here: http://rapidshare.com/files/20903190...omizations.zip Steps are as follows: 1. Disable TF3D (go to settings -> personal -> today -> items -> uncheck Touch Flo 3D from menu) 2. Soft Rest your device (stylus in pin hole or just hold down power button and restart) 3. Download my zip file and install the following items in the following order 3.1 sdkcerts.cab 3.2 Windows7_TF3D.cab (new theme with new icons) 3.3 mUn BackGround4AllPages v.02.cab (makes the background image the same on all tabs) 3.4 tcmdpocketarm.cab (This is a program called Total Commander, it's a file explorer that we need for step 3.6 and 3.10 below) 3.5 496e9ec3_manila (Open Total Commander and MOVE the above file into the \Windows folder on the phones main storage. This makes the programs tabs transparent as in my screenshot) 3.6 crystal.cab (Crystal Clock) 3.7 WM 6.1 Sparkle.tsk if you want blue, or WM 6.1 Black.tsk if you prefer a smoke black look (Use Total Commander and move that file into the \Windows folder as well, then go to your Today menu and select it as a theme, it will appear as the name suggests, WM 6.1 Sparkle (replaces black with blue) 3.8 Lexxirae Ultimate Grey.cab (changes highlight colors from green to transparent grey in lots of places) 3.9 3f00cd2f_manila (Open Total Commander and MOVE the above file into the \Windows folder on the phones main storage. This changes green clock highlight to transparent grey) 3.10 CK049.jpg (my background image, put this in the My Documents\My Pictures folder on the main storage. To make it appear on all tabs simply go to the TF3D Settings tab, click on Wallpaper, and select it from there) 3.11 Soft Reset and re-enable TF3D Enjoy P.S. If anyone knows of a more streamlined approach to installing this (i.e. making a cab of all the cabs, then please let me know too.) Last edited by hamidxa; 03-21-2009 at 05:59 PM. |

Re: Windows Vista TF3D Theme
No.
Give it a try though, you can always uninstall the Windows7_TF3D theme if you don't like it. It's very remove-friendly. |

I checked RAM usage before and after and it was the same. Ditto for CPU utilization while scrolling around through TF3D. I suppose I could compress the background image a bit more. |
