Re: Windows Vista TF3D Theme
First of all remember to Disable TF3D as described in the 1st post then download the following image file:
<-- Make sure it saves as HamidBG3 (while making sure that the file type is .png) Now using Total Commander (or Resco Explorer) we need to MOVE this file into the \Windows folder on your phone's main memory (we'll come back to it in a bit) For the Start Menu Highlight: 1. Open up PHM Regedit if you don't have it click on the following link: http://rapidshare.com/files/21136591...t.Mrln_ARM.CAB then install it 2. Go to HKLM (HKEY Local Machine)>Software>HTC>EnlargeMenu If EnlargeMenu doesn't exist (although it should), then just click Edit, New Key, then create EnlargeMenu 2.1 We will need to manipulate the hex values stored in 2 files, once again, if they don't exist, create them (although they both should be there already). They are: manilacustomhldown manilacustomhlup They are both DWORD values. So when you are in HKLM>Software>HTC>EnlargeMenu If you do not see manilacustomhldown or manilacustomhlup, create them both as DWORD's (this can be done by clicking Edit, New DWORD value) 2.2 Go inside of manilacustomhldown Click on Hexadecimal For the Value Data, enter: CC7733 Click OK Repeat this for manilacustomhlup, so 2.3 Go inside of manilacustomhlup Click on Hexadecimal For the Value Data, enter: CC7733 Click OK For the Taskbar Menu Highlight: 3. We will repeat the same procedures outlined above in Steps 2 - 2.3, but with a slight change 3.1 create the followings DWORD's in HKCU (HKey Current User) -> software -> HTC -> Taskmanager but only if they don't exist, if they do exist, then just edit them as usual ManilaCustomHlDown with HEX value CC7733 ManilaCustomHlUp with HEX value CC7733 For the Blue background itself on Start Menu 4.1. Go to HKLM (Local Machine) -> Software -> HTC -> EnlargeMenu 4.2. Create a new String (if it doesnt exist) called: ManilaCustomTexture 4.3. Give it a value of: \Windows\hamidbg3.png For the Blue background itself on Task Manager 5.1. Go to HKCU (Current User) -> Software -> HTC -> Taskmanager 5.2. Create a new String (if it doesnt exist) called: ManilaCustomTexture 5.3. Give it a value of: \Windows\hamidbg3.png Last edited by hamidxa; 03-20-2009 at 06:51 AM. |

Re: Windows Vista TF3D Theme
Here is the Rhodium Interface that I use with my Touch Pro.
It's slick, it's fast and responsive, and it makes the phone even more finger-friendly by changing virtually every menu on the phone to look like the following examples: Now if you want the Rhodium Interface and like me have a CE OS build < 21000 (Mighty ROM's for example...you can check this by going to Settings -> System -> About , which will show you the build), then simply do the following: 1. Disable TF3D 2. Download this zip file which contains the files you will need: http://rapidshare.com/files/21137264...odium_Menu.zip 3. Install the file, HTC Rhodium Menu Enhancement.cab, onto your main storage (not SD card) 4. Using Total Commander (or Resco Explorer), MOVE the following 2 files into \Windows directory: gwes.exe.0409 gwes 5. Re-enable TF3D and soft reset Last edited by hamidxa; 03-20-2009 at 06:26 AM. |

It doesn't tamper with any critical system files that would prevent bootup, it merely replaces a few manila files, and changes some colors here and there. Did you install any other apps as well prior to rebooting? Perhaps you may already have the Rhodium interface enabled, assuming you are using a current ROM such as Mighty 4.15/4.16, in which case there could be complications if you tried to implement the Rhodium interface using my method... |
