I had taskbar 6.3 lite- and the Sandclock changed also- in a way I don´t like. Can you tell me how to change it back to the old one?

That should fix your problem

At the risk of sounding ignorant, I've never messed with editing the registry, I always looked for cabs. I tried finding the spot in the registry to edit that, but couldnt find it. Did I overlook it, or do I have to add it in?

hey tsowen, back again. does it make a difference what carrier i have? i tried both cabs with a soft reset after and saw no change. im on sprint.

Sprint you should have the 7 bars, what custom ROM are you running? Have to narrow down what the problem is.

Check to make sure your registry has this

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\ResOver\Bitmaps]
"FuncDll"="CDMA_RSSI_PPC.dll"

When you install the custom taskbar what do you see for your Ev/1X icons? If you can give me a screen shot I can figure it out probably.
