Re: Some Ultimate Mobile Shell Themes ( Updated 10/1/08 )

You can drag all the new files into the mobile shell folder using ActiveSync & just tell it to overwrite the existing files.

I just drag and drop and select yes to replace/overwrite.

Re: Some Ultimate Mobile Shell Themes ( Updated 10/1/08 )

Alright here is another set of silly questions. I downloaded the spb mobile shell cab and installed it. I'M IN LOVE WITH IT. I understand that i have 15 days of playtime before i can register it or buy it. I'm sure all of you guys have probably bought it from the site, is there anyway "Around" that obstacle? if so please let me know. Also, i was playing around with the settings and the one thing i would like to know is how do i get my today screen inside spb mobile shell to stay "Permanent". Can the entire UI that windows mobile 6 be replaced with the mobile shell program. I would love to know how to do this. I was just looking for something to make my phone look cool. mobile shell gave me something totally different. SO I NEED THE HELP PPCGEEKS. Thanks in advance.

That is not a question you want to be asking on this site.

First, if you are "IN LOVE WITH IT" then buy it. Second, look for a program called spbwatcher. It will display Mobile Shell when go to your WM Today screen.

Re: Some Ultimate Mobile Shell Themes ( Updated 10/1/08 )

after fiddling around with it, I slowly to love it little by little. as far as that other request, no problem. I was just asking if there was, but I do intend on buying it @ the end of the trial period. Finally, I believe I phrased the question wrong, now that im reading this over. I wanted to know how I get the now screen to stay over the today screen permanently. that and all the stuff that mobile shell does. thanks a bunch peeps.

It sounds like spbwatcher is what you are looking for. If you are using spbwatcher and close Mobile Shell, it will immediatly start up again. You may see your old Today screen for a split second, but Mobile Shell will always reload when everything else is closed.

Re: Some Ultimate Mobile Shell Themes ( Updated 10/1/08 )

Someone asked:

Does mobile shell still drain the battery on the touch really bad?

The latest shell does not drain my battery (HTC Touch user). I even left my phone uncharged all night and it still had the same charge amount when I woke.

Re: Some Ultimate Mobile Shell Themes ( Updated 10/1/08 )

After trying...resetting...hard resetting..and pounding my head against the wall..I have given up trying to make Gsmart Glassy black into 3 speeddial pages. I have this concept...

3 pages...with 2 sub-pages under speedial. NO MAIN TABS
Touch the clock to get tp the calender/alarm page.
MRU and programs merged into one page:

Can anyone help?
