ok,

i got UL to work, and i got the black bar at the bottom to go away. But i still have a little bar in the way. It tells me that its in vibrate mode (or ring), that its plugged in, and the battery level. I cant figure out what program does this, or if its built in where i can change it. any help would be greatly apreciated

Ok I hope this makes since to anyone who can help. Is there a way I can find out the path or exact directory to an app so I can map it to a launcher like throttle, ultimate, etc. Like if I want the internet to open opera instead of explorer or messaging to open up a message app or location of my choice. I hope it makes since. Thank you all for your time and help.

Thats weird cause I don't have within the theme an app to display the battery stats. If you can show me a screenshot I would appreciate iit and see if its my theme causing it. Thanks.

Sure you can here is an example to change the IE to opera, with my theme:

You go through UL settings by tapping the bottom tabs for a few sec and go to -> the Internet tab and click on change -> You will see empty tabs to the left, just highlight the second tab and again click on change -> you will now see the world icon and click on change -> Now you are in the command tab -> Now change it to the new path by clicking on exe or lnk and you will see a list of folders -> go to the windows folder, check there for the new path -> I found mine in the start menu of the windows folder -> Opera Browser.lnk

It's not part of your theme,

its either a program i have installed or it came with at&t's OS. I cant figure out what it is or how to get rid of it. If you could tell me how to get a screen shot, i would post one

Hey s2w thatnks alot man. You have been a great help. I found out my issue. I was going through my storage card instead of my device. I think the new sprint rom is having issues with that or something. I have to do more research but I fixed my issue. Thanks again.

Of course you can... I included a launcher tab within the folder s2w lucid D revised. So all you have to do is go to the settings and change the contacts tab with the launcher tab.

What you are circling in the screenshot is working icons for the psshutXp and comm manager. What trouble are you having?

Doesn't that only change the icon? How would you change the contents of the tab?

In the .ini I see

[TodayPlugIn]
PlugIn = "Dial Tab"

Since the app launcher is part of HTC Home (I think), I think I can change that to

[TodayPlugIn]
PlugIn = "HTC Home"

However, HTC Home is customized for the music tab and the app launch isn't active.

Am I going about this the wrong way?

Yes, you are right... the one you seen posted was to show the new tabs I was working on and has two extra icons s2u2 and file explorer (which I frequently use), if you guys would be interested they will be up when I update the UL config with the bottom tabs.

It does both you can change the icons and also change the path. You don't need to do this through the config settings you do it directly in the UL settings.

so i was thinking outta curiosity, is there a way to make another ul plugin on the gt version so that when your at the home screen you could spin a cube in that empty space? if so that would be dope but if not oh well. also where can i get today agenda at? thnx

This is something I have considered and will start working on, unfortunately at the moment I am busy with work and there is a much needed vacation coming shortly :drunken: So perhaps afterwards, I will entice those options.


As for the lucid gt I am almost done... again I made so you can place any background to blend. As you can see in this example.

Please help. I really like the theme, but every time i replace the UL config settings with sw2 UL settings, the screen on my touch became nonresponsive after a soft reset. Any other way around? Thanks

i have never givin up on any ppc apps i got to make it work somehow but i could not with basic backdrop so sad...so i decided to combine your Lucid and simple Backdrop check it...i love it thanks to all that help and thank you s2w for providing us with all this

You will have to make sure that you have the tabs folder that I included in your my document. It seems like Ul is trying to config the settings but something is missplaced.

After double checking that all is placed correct when reading the instruction and still same prob. I will post an update before the week is over.

While in the proccess of modifying lucid GT (which will come soon), I created Lucid Simplicity.

As the title states simplicity... for those who prefer straying away from the xmls setups, like Rltoday and others apps. Here you have a basic setup that looks pleasant and overall smooth. With little requirements. HHC, UL, Weatherpanel and s2p(is an option)

OH btw S2W i actually swapped out ur wp manilla theme and icons for the animated Diamond set.. it makes everything that much nicer!

wow your skins are something else ... have u every thought about making a skin for phonealarm and corporating that skin into one of your themes?... phonealarm developer is also having a skin competition in which he will give winner a htc diamond....

with how good u are ... maybe u should consider this... setting up something with ultimate launcher and phonealarm rather then RLtoday....

hhc is the same thing has HTC customizer , correct ?

phonealarm is pretty dope BUT i think ul, rl, wp, and htc is more than enough!

phone alarm doesnt really give u the whole "user custimization friendly thing" that these apps provide

Great Work! But when i downloaded the rltoday lucid d revised skin the place where the date(top left) is sometimes meshes with the "sprint pcs" writing on the top right. This happens whenever the day(ex. wednesday) is long and the month(ex. september) is long. On the pictures shown(in the thread) it shows the top right sprint writing as only "sprint", but when i downloaded it it says "sprint pcs". Is there anyway to change it to just "sprint" or shrink the font?

theres a couple of options out there...

the easiest i recommmend is to download the app "personalizer".. u can change ur provider name to whatever ud like..

just do a quick search and u should be good to go from there!

Just returned back from a biz trip and will be around for a few days before going on my deserved vacation. :drunken:

For those who patiently waited for simplicity, I have one posted in 3rd post of the 1st page. A red velvet to start it off.

I must say that you will need the HTChome instead of the HHC which isn't playing nice with my graphics and setup. Guess it has to do with 6.1

Again with this theme no need to edit any xml. just a simple process.
