2nd option...drag or copy the lucid theme skin to your desktop...open the skin in notepad...and make the changes there...once you done with the changes...save it...and replace it with the skin in the lucid theme folder

I hope this helps....

Actually I have Resco..but I dont know how to find rlToday..I actually thougt about going throug that to try an edit but I was unable to find the prog. but I will try the 2nd option and see how that works out for me..only prob. is that the file types are totally different..so I dont know if that going to work for m...but i'll try it anyways...thanks for ur help though.

ill post the map to open the folder when i find it

Thats a great idea mike, and glad you are implememting it. I created the skin in a way where you can change anything to suit your needs or your applications.

Well besides the clock and date layout nothing is set in stone with this theme. You can change the titles to a program or even eliminate theme. Its easy and if so I will help you guys.

Glad you got into it and made it work with both.

Its contact.lnk with the letter lower case L not i. It should be in you windows -> start menu. It is in my touch. I will try and mess around with the path.

But like I stated in the previous post... you can change the theme to suit your needs. Take it out or change the title to any program that you can find paths to.

To get the Wording on the top and the world. all you need to do is copy the lucid theme in your my documents and make sure the configuration settings is copied to your UL folder, overwritting the one already there. Its already set to recognize it so the setting looks like the first post

The xml is located in the Rltoday folder. Just go to file explorer and to programs. Once there just go to the lucid skin and either with resco or total commander you edit it. Or try copying the skin to your pc and right click on the skin and edit. I made it easy by categorizing the set up with the xml skin.

let me know how it goes. remember I am here to help you guys enjoy the theme to suit your needs.

No problem, could of been my mistake in reading it. Yes you can have both on the same window pane of the last caller. You might have to change the size of the font to accomodate both name and number to fit in a single line. But yes yo can.

2 questions:

1.What size font do you recommend?
2.Do I edit the same line as before?

This is the instructions s2w gave me (so thank him)

lets say you want to change task for contacts. You just go to the UL settings tap on task -> tap on change -> go to the first highlighted tab and again tap ob change -> there you will see 2 icons on the first two rows tap on one and than change -> go to the xp icon and browse within the s2w lucid theme foider and choose from the contact icons there you will pick gtab contact and for the next icon choose gtab contact 0. Now for the title do the same this time choosing contact 1 and contact 2.

I hope this help....

you probably didn't know there are four tabs....now you have the contacts tab there but it still displays task...okay...go back your you change the tabs..the word is invisible...the first icon is highlighted already so go down two spaces...after you went down to spaces...the word task should be highlighted...tap change and go back to the folder where you got the contacts icons from...click on w contacts 1.ico and do the same for the other...which is w contacts 2.ico

i hope this help

I tried getting both the name and # together in one window pane but it was too small for my taste... Don't get me wrong it could work but tts up to you. So instead I created a new tab and took the last caller tab out replacing it wit the caller name.

Check it out below. But if you want you can always revert back to the way it was and use a font size of 10 and both will fit just find, or you can play with the font size a bit to your liking.

use this if you will try it yourself:

Code:

<Registry key="HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\State\Phone\Last Incoming Caller Name" x="15" y="198" color="RGB(0,0,0)" alignment="left" >
    <Font size="12" weight="bold" font="Tahoma" />
    <OnClick File="\Windows\cprog.exe" />
  </Registry>
  <Registry key="HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\State\Phone\Last Incoming Caller Number" x="150" y="198" color="RGB(0,0,0)" alignment="center" >
    <Font size="16" weight="bold" font="Tahoma" />
    <OnClick File="\Windows\cprog.exe" />
  </Registry>

Hope it works out...

Thanks maniak for passing the info that I gave you to dabackwoodboy.

Excited you found it useful and remember I made it so you can customize it to your liking with the apps you want and it should run smooth. The possiblities are there just look at mike youtube video. It pretty sweet.

Ive spent alot of time in a sandbox overseas and since ive been back ive seen alot of real good stuff, and this ranks up with the best. any help anyone can offer to help me work the kinks out. it would be nice to have my nav where the tasks go, how would i go about doing that as well as linking the audio manager to the tab?

OK OK OK .. FIRST OFF..

thanks to everyone whos helped out here. THIS THEME IS THE BALLS!

s2w mike20 maniak and everyone else seriously..thanks!
..now i got a few questions (with pics to refrence)

1. how do i get today agenda to work?
2. whats the deal with this msg under my task menu "No Path To DLL Found" (ref pic)
3. FIXED
4. FIXED

EDIT : A few more issues seems to have popped up after a soft reset :
- when i hit the contacts button on the today screen i get " Error opening the shortcut or locating the target name" - why and is there a fix?
- when i hit programs on the today screen i get " the file 'HTC Programs" cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate or one of its components cannot be found - why and is there a fix for this as well?
