Touch Diamond Theme WAD2!!!! (Discontinued)

help please!!!! everything went well on the install but i am unable to find the diamond theme under the desktop 2x theme. in the instructions it mentions that i should see the diamond touch theme! its not there, what did i do wrong?

hey when in the second paragraph , after u put the wad2 and wa3 and it says extract, where did u extract from?

i think the zip file is where i extracted from. basically there is no today screen or theme

when i go to change theme; it mentions that there should be the diamond theme link but its not there

I never had that problem ..

Even with version 1 ...

Maybe you should soft reset your device 4 times in a row?

4 soft resets always works for me haha

I had a slight problem like you had in version 1 ..

Being the person I am I decided to poke around JDumes instructions and find out myself instead of asking him a million questions on top of the 3 billion questions everyone else has haha

..

TO ANYONE HAVING A HARD TIME PULLING UP THE THEME ...

1 - Tap and hold down on a black area of the screen
2 - Tap on Settings
3 - Tap on Change Theme (Middle Left)
4 - Tap on Desktop 2.x Theme (Bottom Left)
5 - Tap on Import (Bottom Right)
6 - Open up My Documents
7 - Open up Lakeridge
8 - Open up Wisbar Advance Desktop
9 - Open up Themes
10 - Tap on HTC_TOUCH_DIAMOND_V2
11 - Tap OK (Top Right)
12 - Make sure HTC_TOUCH_DIAMOND_V2 is highlighted under Installed Desktop Themes
13 - Hit Ok, Then hit Ok again
14 - Wait for the theme to fade in
15 - Jump up and down and shout

I did not move my Lakridge folder into File Explorer>Program Files .. I just left Lakeridge in My Documents because when I moved it into Program Files WAD and WA3 did not work for me ..

If anyone has anymore questions I will be happy to help out Jdume out

This is what I pmed you about and to make my PM a little easier to read ..


1 - Using Activesync [when your phone is connected to your computer with a usb cable] copy the WA3 and WAD CAB Files into your PPC My Documents folder on your PC Desktop ...
2 - Wait for Activesync to sync your phone and pc
3 - Go to File Explorer > My Documents > Click on the WA3 cab file first and install it
4 - Go back to File Explorer > My Documents > Click on WAD cab files and install it
5 - Go to your PC Desktop and open up the HTC_TOUCH_DIAMOND_v2.Zip and now click and drag Lakeridge into your PPC My Documents folder ..
6 - Wait for Activesync to sync your phone and pc
7 - Now go back to your PC Desktop and click and drag HTC Touch Diamond Images into your PPC My Documents folder
8 - Wait for Activesync to sync your phone and pc
9 - When the AcSync is done go into File Explorer > My Documents > Tap and Highlight HTC Touch Diamond Images and then tap on CUT ...
10 - Hit up on the bottom left of your PPC and then go into your Storage Card ... Hit Menu at the bottom left and then hit PASTE ..
11 - Wait for the millions of files to paste into your storage card ..

Thats the EXTRACTION part that JDume was talking about ..

The step I didnt follow was moving the folders into Program Files ..

Thats weird ..

You didnt see the HTC_TOUCH_DIAMOND_V2 under themes when you go into import?

Hrmmmm ..

Maybe you should start the install all over again ..

I had to give it 3 tries with v2 before I got everything to work ..

Try it the way that I did it in this post ..
