I have a bell mobility HTC Touch. and the OEM home screen issue is happening more often now.. sometimes it's after closing the web browser, other times when pressing the weather update button... other times its after changing screens...it's random and the only way to get the theme back is a soft reset. ...

I dont believe you MUST soft reset. just map wisbar advanced desktop to your camera press and hold. and every time it self quits just press and hold your camera button and it will come right back up.

that is a good idea....but... 1) I've changed the mapping of the camera button to only activate the camera on a press and hold, this avoids the camera coming on by mistake, 2) I can easily locate the WA file in programs and launch it from there, it doesn't work.
still brings up only the OEM home screen

crap.. now I"Ve screwed up the contacts. I tried adding my own photos but now the "flipper" is gone, seems like the "call" button on one of the "added photo" contats is gone, when one of my "added photo" contact was on the screen I was looking for it's "call" button, ended up calling the contact that was underneath it by mistake...don't know how to fix this..is there a way without doing an uninstall/reinstall? it took me a long time to set it all up...I gotta learn to leave well enough alone...

It's a verly large theme, memory will become an issue, it runs of the memory card so it takes time to load, and WAD2 is in its beta stages. hope this helps.
