s2w HTC blackdrop theme

@ the HHC, i changed the BG to Transparent however I don't have the black background that you have on your uploaded images...what I did wrong? Also, I have get my weather to show up on the bottom on the page. Thanks for the help.

I have the "XXX" as my missed calls and i soft reset but no change...

For the XXX problem.... Soft resetting does not seem to solve the issue, at least for me it didn't. I did find that if you open your missed calls list, it will go away at that point in time! Hope this helps anyone experiencing that issue.


Side Note: S2W.... AWESOME JOB, This is an extremely clean looking "theme", you should be proud.

Thanks parkjam, I was just about to reply. I am glad you figured it out. Once that is done you shouldn't see the XXX.

I'm also glad you like the theme and thank you for the compliment. It makes me proud to know people like yourself are enjoying the theme. Makes the effort worth while. Especially when its expressed.

For some odd reason, I keep gettin the gray screen instead of the black one. I follow each step carefully.

Just go back to where you placed the "blackdrop" background and when you view it go to menu and click on "set the today background" and make sure the transparency level is set to 0% and press ok. Hopefully that should do the trick.

Another question...When i click on the middle icon (the cube) on the today screen, it won't open because I have no HTC Programs? What programs are compatible and how can i set it up?

thanx so much for the theme! quick q, how do you remap the buttons you mentioned? cuz i dont see the command lines for this skin... and i rather them open s2p and opera rather than wmp and pie, please help

You're welcome... Just go to the htc blackdrop folder that I set for the RLToday theme. There you will see an xml called skin. The files you would want to remap and change, are on the bottom.

Here is a sample with the wmp changed and working for the s2p.

You see where I changed the wmp to s2p... now do the same for the opera.

Once you change the path just save the edit and copy it to the htc blackdrop in your RLtoday folder and "ok" the overwrite to the original skin for blackdrop.

Hope that helps. Remember I already changed the wmp to s2p in the example above to make it easy on you and show you where its done.

Same goes to you maniak3, instead of pie and wmp you remap your path to a different program path within your device.
