Which iPhone theme are you using on your wife's Treo?

The only things I am trying to do that I can not figure out are below.

1. I am trying to assign a button on the desktop to the "Cascading Start Menu" from Wisbar Advance. I can assign it, but it will not work.
2. I made a second virtual page to have my speed dials on, but the Speed dial plugin only shows one line and nothing more. I would like to show the entire Speed dial plugin.

I have a third page so that I can click to my WeatherPanel plugin.

ok what you have to do first is use WM5 dial pad instead of the Treo Dial...
What it does is when you press the green phone call button it brings up a customizable WM5 dialpad that the Treo Pad was designed to replace...from there after you make a call it shows your call status, speak, mute and all the great stuff ...that in my opinion is better and easier to use than Treo Pad or whatever they call it.....Here is the Link

HowTo Guide: Use WM5 Dialer Instead of Palm Software - WM Experts

As Far as WAD: what i did is i did the first steps on Lazyboy's Iphone Theme not the keyboard, clock ,or other messg. crap...Treo does not need it due to its full keyboard. So.....when you install everything it should look out of place......but if you hold down your stylus and select page Full Screen and then uncheck Lock Items you can drag your icons down ...It is Necessary to delete three Shortcut Icons from the page for it to fit....i did not use all of them and made my own on different virtual docks...it comes with a .psd file to make your own.....

Oh Best thing to do instead of Speed dial is to make a Virtual Page and Make your own icon with a picture of the person and in the Program selector just Type in the contacts number instead of down arrow and searching ......then check the "This a Phone Number" Box

Problem i ran into is than when you soft Reset......your iphone theme comes up....everything looks fine....then you test the Green Call button to make a call....click Ok to close it....and it takes you to the Treo home and kicks you out of WAD....what i do is it requires only to:

click Programs....go to Wisbar folder i think click settings to exit the current Running Wisbar .....and then Open Wisbar again ....the Iphone theme loads up and everything should be Gravy

Re: Creating a WAD theme

Well to answer the guys question, I don't think I have seen a program that specifically creates a WAD Theme. I have seen WADs that were created and packed up to deploy in the WAD theme interface, but thats it. You basicly have to create a theme using the Wisbar Advanced Desktop Theme Manager utility. There are several tutorials out with instructions on creating a WAD Theme. I think I might do a tutorial and put it on my Newbie Tutorial website, because I see so many questions about WAD themes. It is kind of funky to use for beginers, but after you get the hang of it you will love it. Take note to my WAD Theme in my signature, no that is not my Today screen it's my WAD.

I've read that thread over at Treocentral, and it is not entirely clear. Do you receive VM notifications? Does everything else work well for you other than the on-screen vm buttons?

I'd like to use WAD on my Treo but I can't get the call status window to appear.

What are the pluses and downsides of switching to the WM5 dial pad?

Re: Creating a WAD theme

if you have used a 6700 or any other windows phone besides the treo.....you will find it is more simpler than the treo pad..... NO downside on the WM5 Dial PAd......you can actually skin the WM5 Dial pad

what exactly are you having problems with?

Re: Creating a WAD theme

It sounds like using the WM5 pad on treos, disable VM notifications and VM buttons... I could live without the onscreen buttons for deleting and saving, but I need to have VM notifications when I receive a VM.

So I can't switch to the WM5 dialer.
