#1 I don't see anything for this.
#2 there is a HKLM\software\htc\HTCAnimation (startupGif=\windows\animated.gif, startupWav=\windows\BootUpHTC.wav, ShutDownAsStartup=(1) )

not sure if it's from software I have installed (both are not set up the same)
also I tried more of your splash/animation cab's on #2, only tried a few with #1

something else i noticed is that some of your cabs, sometimes ask for a reboot while others do not...

edit; forgot to make it clear that for the most part the splash screens work.

actually that does help, not sure if it's the ROM or not, but the animated startup screen is a different file name for you. I will make new cabs for you, just let me know which ones you want.

how my splash screen coming out..... hope it looks bomb a**.....no rush this can be one of them u can mess with ...get that practice in lol

Have not had a chance to work on it too much, poweroutages and net connectivity caused by Gustav sucked....but all that's p***** and reliable power and net connection will have me up and working on things again

cyber monkey you've done some great work. I would like to make a request if you could do it for me, I would really appreciate it. a Naurto Shipuuden splash screen if you need an image or images let me know I have plenty.

You need a 3rd party file explorer such as Resco or Total Commander

That's why I started making the .cab installers for people.
