You may wanna check out the Palm Pre thread.

IMO the phone isn't as nice looking as the TP but the webOS is great. But if you dont care to sign up for their new plan, I say go for it. I'm getting tired of windows too but my current plan prevents me from upgrading to the Pre.

i was thinking the same thing. the pre looks like the touch, but with a keyboard. but i will wait to see what the tp2 does b4 i switch

got a chance to play around with it...its a very smooth device (the TP's downfall)...but other than that, it's kinda a downgrade (no video camera, no wifi i dont think but dont quote me, cant customize, etc.)

but for what the phone can do, it does it well...cant say the same for the TP

it does have wifi, and the ability to customize is on the horizon trust me, its all new firmware so just wait...

The Touch Pro is like an hourglass-shaped cougar... not quite as attractive on the surface, but if you know how to work it... it knows how to work you :p

Im sorry but that was one of the most awful metaphors I think I have ever had the displeasure of reading. I tend to think hourglass shaped women are more attractive than flat chested ones but thats beside the point and kind of perverted. Anyways, Yeah man I would go with the Pre if I were you. You can only have so many hardware issues before youre sick of it. Either that or wait for the TP2. Either way youre still gonna be having the support of this site with you.

Treo Pro or Palm Pre?
 

I have a 800w and love it but i there a few thing i dont like 1 it the battery life and the other is the headphone jack a bigger screen would be nice too but not a big deal. the pro would solve 2 of the problems now if i went with a pre i would gain the big screen and lose the battery life also im concerned about the operation system
i surf the net, stream sirus and use youtube aswell as email texts ect.
any recomendations?

i wud go with the treo pro, cuz pre doesnt have alot of supported sw avail, yet. but maybe in time that willl change. but bcuz ur ? was asked today, i wud go with the treo pro..IMHO


but im sure the pre users wud disagree or chime in with their point of view..lol

I like the microSDHC slot on the pro
plus i like the 1-piece design rather than a 2-piece slider that can start to get loose or break.
but i want a resistive screen.
