Im a Software Engineer senior student (so I know my way around perty much anything that envoles software design). My friends have all started this "Im gonna make Iphone apps" so they got there mac minis and all this stuff making there apps. They are still working on getting anything done. I open up C++ probly 10mins of typing and im like Boom pong on my phone! they still trying to figure out how to load the Iphone program editer lol. On top of that Im look look at all these programs that were free! Then I copy and paste and they start to cry... LOL...

Someone said new internet tab.... HUH? Iphones do internet tabbing better then opera. If anything the only thing the iphone has that I want is the a good webbrowser... Then again Iphone browser with flash would be perfect... Then again they were like "you cant pinch to zoom in" and im like I dont have to zoom in VGA! set font to medium in opera never need to zoom...

I found it to be a pain, not as much control AFAI played with...*Things could've changed since September, when I last borrowed it*
Opera was easier, esp with new link windows. and the + copy paste between tabbed pages & the downloads tab.

So yes, opening tabs in Opera is a pure win IMO.

It usually starts out with whoever has an iPhone sees my Touch Pro and tries to compare it and then they start talking about the App Store and how it can do this and that and I just tell them that the Touch Pro can probably do it better, and if not *pulls out the iPhone* I always got an iPhone too!

Thats usually when the person shuts up.

I got a good one kinda anti app store...

So Im playing my NES emulator and my friend comes over "NES emulator thats cool I got it on my jailbreaked iphone" Then he proceeds to ask me if i got a certain game... i go no... he responds "that sucks my iphone has that one"..... I pause my game and boot opera... "Hold on let me go download it"... log onto a rom site and within a minute was playing it.... He asked me if AT&T had the TP....

I think the only thing my phone lacks.... Is bit torrent... but once I get my homeserver set up that wont be a problem either...

Why do people feel this is necessary??

I don't have an iphone, but I do have a 16 gig ipod Touch & it certainly has some things I would kill for in my TP. The ipod screen may not be as high resolution, but guess what -it is just as big & beautiful outside in the direct sun where I can't even see the screen on my TP.

I would kill to have that super responsive screen that is readable outside running the awesome Safari browser in my TP...........

For me it confirms every reason why i never purchased an iphone or ipod touch. Also confirms every reason why someone brings me an iphone to look at I tell them they could have spent their money on windows mobile and made my life easier to work on the phone
