Re: For Those who upgraded from Touch to Diamond
Diamond forever...................LOL. I have a Touch and Touch Diamond, the Diamond is far better than the Touch. The Pro would be nice if you prefer the keyboard and card slot. I have yet to come close to using the 4gb storage though on my diamond. I guess it helps that I have a 16gb iPod Touch for my music and games and such. Not sure that I would like the extra bulk of the Pro. Just my 2 cents though. Either would make a great purchase.

I upgraded from a Touch back in October and it helps that I was able to sell my Touch and a broken one for almost 2/3 of what I paid for my Diamond... You are leaving out other important features... Wifi... Which I thought was more or less useless with an unlimited data plan until I found WMWifiRouter!!!! Now I don't need to find an open WAP to use my iPod Touch... accelerometer - very cool when used with apps that will switch your display automagically to landscape accelerated graphics.... Better camera - 3.2MP versus 2.0MP I'm sure there are other benefits I am leaving out but that's just a start.... Upgrade! You'll thank yourself later....

Re: For Those who upgraded from Touch to Diamond
I agree with you on the reset button. Might Mike's new ROM has a soft reset program built in though which makes it ALOT easier to do. I think there are other ones out there as well. I hated having to pop off the dang battery cover just to get to that!!!

Re: For Those who upgraded from Touch to Diamond
The Diamond does have the earlier devices (Touch, Mogul, etc.) severly outgunned, but for me, the absolute best reason that the Diamond (and Pro) is hands down better, is the screen.
The image quality is stunning. Compared side-by-side to a Touch, you'll wonder how you ever "got by" with such a low-res and fuzzy screen. I even did a comparison with my Mac-fanboy buddy's (lower res) Iphone and even he grudgingly admitted the Diamond is better.

It killed him to admit. Then I put on my A2DP stereo headset (which Iphone doesn't support) and cranked Metallica, just to rub it in.
