Giving up on my TP -- Replacements?

I am coming up on my 30 day limit for returns and just cannot tolerate the TP. There is a lot to love about this device, but I am having an enormous problem that I cannot tolerate: Dropped calls. Before the TP I had a u740 and honestly dropped maybe two calls a year. I'm dropping two every day with the TP. Can't accept it. My wife's BB Curve will be rockin a strong signal and my TP will be sucking wind trying to get a stable voice connection much less a data pipe. This is in the South Carolina and North Carolina region.

So... I am wondering about a good alternative device that has a better radio? I would like to stay with a WinMo device. For all their faults there are too many good apps and useful functions with WinMo devices that I cannot find a substitute for on a BB.

The Saga and Omnia are both tempting. I like the hardware keyboard so the Saga has an appeal for me, but the Omnia looks like a better screen for video and web browsing.

I use my phone first and foremost as a phone and second as a web device (browsing on the device and tethering). Third is a video and mp3 player. Your input and advice is much appreciated.
