The VZ GPS chip is locked to the VZ Navigator. And it does not interact with anything on the phone.

On Sprint, all I had to do was put all my clients into Outlook, code the names for rapid location in the list and then /menu/drive to.

On VZ, it is locate contact, copy to paper or print out before I leave, and then enter them into the Navigator.

I hope someone is unlocking this puppy soon so I can at least find a program that works with GPS and the contacts.

screw it, they offered it to me for 199 and I bit, ill just sell this POS and recoup the price.

It is, he couldnt even make the order, I have to call back in 10 days

Don't wait 10 days. I ordered from the 25th called sprint on Monday they said their computer is showing the next shipment to come in was 7-10 days from Dec 1st. TP shipped last night and is arriving on Monday. Even if it isn't in stock they can place the order. That's how I placed mine while it still showed out of stock on the sprint website.

Yeah, I'd stay on them. In my exp. with Sprint, its all in who you talk to. One call you may be bounced around to 5 departments and you will never get an answer.......
The next you might have your problem resolved in less than 5 min. Just pure luck of the draw.

Not a bad price at all. Do you also qualify for the rebate? I'm sure you can craigslist the 800 for $199 easy.
