Re: Touch Pro (xv6850) vs. Titan (xv6800)
I would say, without even owning a TP right now, that it is better than the Titan. The titan has a QVGA screen and a smaller keyboard. Most of the TP complaints come from the RAM or TouchFlo 3D (which is just software, I might try the Omnia interface/today app out if I get a TP). Most of these issues can be addressed with tweaks to make it run better. Another complaint is locked GPS - that should be (hopefully) unlocked by the HTC community for use in other applications.
The TP is a great device, you can always port one over from sprint if you have any concern about RAM or a locked GPS (it will be cheaper too if buying retail) |

Re: Touch Pro (xv6850) vs. Titan (xv6800)
I really think Exil3d has a confidence issue, he takes every opprutunity to bash peoples phone or their carrier, I mean why would a Sprint Customer be on a thread that has to do with 2 Verizon phones.
Exil3d has even created threads with the sole purpose of bashing the Verizon Touch Pro. PPCgeeks was created to educate and assist people with thier mobile phone needs, not to insult peoples carrier or the phone thats people decide to buy. Sorry about your Di-k Exil3d. |

Re: Touch Pro (xv6850) vs. Titan (xv6800)
I will go with vzw touch pro
while a custom rom on the titan would make a world of difference from the the stock rom on titan, applying some of the tweaks on the touch pro does a lot of difference on vzw's touch pro. That said, I personally will go with the touch pro. Its not like the sprint version wa wa wa okay we get it. It's getting old. But it isn't super bad |
