Sprint Pro vs. Vzn Pro vents! - Page 6

I had a chance to play with the Verizon Touch Pro on Friday. I think it looks fine. I can live without the faceted diamond back. But, the keyboard really pissed me off. I think the Fuze's keyboard was changed, but I thought it served a purpose, and in general is very useable to me. Verizon's TP's keyboard seem arbitrary to me; lets put the letter "M" in a strange and weird place. I didn't like the feel of it either. I guess I could get used to it, but why should I? And, then again, there's the crippling of the built in RAM. How dare Verizon charge $50 more! It almost makes me want to jump to AT&T!

I changed over to the Touch Pro today and I can't get away fast enough I absolutely hate this phone and its only been one day the issues are too much to list as well as the fact that the speaker straight sucks. This is not in anyway a invitation to flame me or a invite to argue I am simply posting my opinion and I will not respond to any criticism at all, BTW I'm with Sprint...

I returned mine. I had it for a week. I could not wait for this phone but when I received it I almost fainted. Within the next hour I was ready to take it back and beat down VZW!

I'm with Alltel, and I *just* got my Touch Pro. Luckily enough it was before my local store converted over to VZW. I'm so happy with this TP. It's exactly the same as the Sprint version, except that it didn't come with a microSD card (they come with one in the box right?). I've been reading about the VZW TP for some time now and when I heard about what they did to it, I thought, "that's not even the same phone? how can they call it a Touch Pro?" And to be honest, if I hadn't been upgraded when I was, I would've been switching to Sprint when my contract was up. I wouldn't be able to live with the Verizon TP. I just wouldn't. I love my Alltel TP so much I've decided to just run the Stock ROM on it. I've had absolutely no problems whatsoever with it.

I would buy a Sprint TP and hack it up to work on verizon, but I'm working on having verzion give me a TP because of the many issues I've had with my Titans. I'm on my 6th now, white burn spot is almost unbearable enough to call in and swap it out.
