Re: what made you choose the Touch Diamond over the Pro
The GSM Pro had more RAM then the diamond, so I think that's why some people are getting confused with the CDMA version.

Me either. I must be one of the only Neanderthals here and actually carry an iPod for when I want to listen to music. That and a pair of Bose headphones...

Re: what made you choose the Touch Diamond over the Pro
That's like saying why use your diamond for sending e-mails?? That's what computers are for lol. Not flamming you but i just don't get your point. I use mine as a mp3 player and it is GREAT the sound is much better than alot of mp3 players i have had and the sound quality is even better than the iphone. That's one of the main reasons people like there iphone because of all the space to store music. Your comment kinda defeats the purpose of having this type of phone if you don't use all the features.

Hmmm, pro has a 5-row qwerty keyboard on a device the length and width of the diamond. Sounds like it'd be a little cramped for my fat fingers. The Diamond is suited for my style of typing anyway... hunt and peck.

I didn't think so... I have music on my Diamond but it is certainly not my primary music player of choice. Maybe you just don't have as much music or such a diverse music interest as I do. 4-8 GB would never be enough for me. I have over 200 GB of music now on my server at home. More than that at work. What the hell would a Diamond or Pro do with that? At least with my iPod I can carry 60 GB... Last edited by rainfreak; 10-17-2008 at 04:33 PM. |
