HTC Touch Pro or Diamond: Which is the best option? Why?

Vs.

If you guys want to comment, answer for the forum the following q's:
  • Which one is the best bet? Why?
  • Will you buy me one ... pretty please? I won't be choosy ... I promise.

Personally, I like the size of ROM and RAM specs in the Touch Pro, which are more important to me as a power user (accountant) in choosing one over the other than considering the smaller, more convenient footprint of the Touch Diamond. Performance is really going to count in being able to upgrade to WinMo 7 (bricked edition ROFL), whenever it becomes available, and to actually be able to use it with ease. Upgrading the Apache was horrendous for me, so I want something that'll have some legs (longevity).

Gotta have the keyboard. I've been trying using onscreen keyboards in anticipation of moving to a Touch and I just can't "like" it. I've tried all kinds of keyboards, and none have done it for me. And, no, I won't buy you one

As far as I'm concerned, I agree with the OP's analysis-- I'm a power user for business use, so performance is a must. I want the high RAM stat and the keyboard for emailing and web access. Everything else seems to be fairly comparable, so there you have it.

D*mn ... you say no so easily ... lol.

I agree, the onscreen keyboard thing is becoming extremely annoying. If the screen were larger on the Touch, I wouldn't complain, but it's just not large enough to be touch only. 2.8 inch screens are best when have a physical keyboard. If you have a screen like the iPhone, cool, do the touch only thing, but the Touch is beginning to get on my nerves. That may be the reason I don't wait for an HTC phone made specifically for WM7.

Re: HTC Touch Pro or Diamond: Which is the best option? Why?

personally i dont get why pple would choose the diamond over the pro.. same looks, same software, same everything and the pro adds a hardware keyboard on top of that so its win, freakin win baby!!! but d really dont like tha screen to face ratio, looks like a rumor when you slide open the keyboard cuz the screen only takes about 60% of the face i wish that the screen would have been larger and centered.

Re: HTC Touch Pro or Diamond: Which is the best option? Why?

My choice will be Pro, as it is crammed with enough power, and i have the option to increase the storage size (who wants to get stuck with 4 GB, when 32 GB cards are on the way) my next phone will be Pro.

Gotta get the Pro. (Raphael?)
Any news on when Sprint is gonna get it, my earpiece volume just took a dump (like half volume) on me. I don't know if I can wait till Q4.
