Re: HTC Touch Pro or Diamond: Which is the best option? Why?

now even though i am a power touch user, and would NEVER choose the mogul over the touch.. i would definately take the pro over the diamond simply because of the fact that it has everything that the diamond has as well as a keyboard bonus.. an to be honest.. i would only use that keyboard about 10 percent of the time.. which onlywould be for gaming or something, touchpal will still be my primary means of texting. i really cant see why one wouldnt take advantage of having both the keyboard and touchflo an all that stuff

you know what i meant.. the pro doesnt have any draw backs or specs that are considered a downgrade, except the fact that its thicker due to a keyboard

Re: HTC Touch Pro or Diamond: Which is the best option? Why?

I agree. The only downside to the Pro is the thickness. I tried the suretype(T+) keyboard on the BB 7100i, however, and never could type as fast as I could on a full qwerty. And trying to type on a full qwerty on a 2.8 size screen, with my clumsy fat fingers is just not going to cut it for me. Plus, the Pro would have more memory to deal with a Winmo 7 upgrade, if that is in the works. I would love the thinness of the Diamond, but for practical purposes, it will have to be the Pro for me.

Oh cant do without the keyboard. Every time i think i could do without it, i find myself typing away. This wont come to Verizon until 2010 though, so itll be a long time before i ever get to see it. Enjoy it on sprint!

Re: HTC Touch Pro or Diamond: Which is the best option? Why?

I will go for the diamond. The phone looks awkward when the keyboard is out. I like the fact of typing on the glass. I just wanna leave the analog world completely. I have Touch and Iphone so it's a no brainer for me.

Thumbs up Re: HTC Touch Pro or Diamond: Which is the best option? Why?

Definitely the HTC Touch Pro (hopefully they change the name...tho Raphael isn't much better). The keyboard is key (hmm...yeah) for my phone. Even with the screen protector on, tapping on the screen will screw it up quick and with a phone that sexy, I don't want to risk it.

Oh and I'll buy you one if someone buys me one.

Re: HTC Touch Pro or Diamond: Which is the best option? Why?

I've never understood why smaller is so much better to certain people. I mean granted I'm into asthetics as well but to let the size of a device be the determining factor over the technical specs to me is insane unless the device itself is insanly big, obiously. But come on man we're not talking about the "ZACK MORRIS" phone days here people most devices these days keyboard or not are pretty tolerable, the good ones at least or maybe it's just the fact that I'm 6'4 with big hands they aren't amongst the largest hands in the world they're just big. Personally I'm a man of options, options grant freedom. So if they wanna give me a HTC Diamond all throw a full not 4 but 5 ROW keyboard on it who the hell am I not to keep my OPTIONS/FREEDOM open. I like the touch devices but onscreen typing is just not on the level of physical keypads yet particularlly on 2.8 inch screens it's just not big enough. So is it gonna be a lil thicker? yea; Cuz it's supposed to be theirs more stuff there. Sorta like when shorter people tell me I have big feet, I'm 6'4 my feet are the size they need to be if I was your size then I'd have big feet. It's all about proportion. Not to mention the RAM ROM and storage specs r better anyway. Sorry I know that was long...o and by the way this phone will regaurdless if people realize it or not be better than an iphone. Thats just fact
