Re: BB8330 or Touch

im still considering it....

and unless you dont want the BB features....you can rest assured that they will change your plan(maybe just add on $30 BIS) to your plan.

YaBoiD from here switched from the MOgul-Touch-to the Curve, and he says he loves it much better in any winmo device he has owned.

I just dont know if i can leave the winmo platform, I want to, but like I just loaded the Diamond Spb UI yesterday, and I thought "I could never do this on a Berry"....so even though im sick of the WINMO EFF UPS i doubt if ill leave, plus itll cost me a extra 30 bucks a month on my sero....but damn that phone is sexy...

Re: BB8330 or Touch

Yea, I previously had the Mogul before my Touch as well, but like you said earlier, I'm tired of all this hacking. I mean, it was cool when I first got my Mogul and Touch but... now I just want my phone to work right 100% of the time.

Anyway, I think I'm going to give sprint a call when I get off work and see what they can do for me. I just got something in the mail from Sprint saying that I am a "premier customer" so hopefully they'll look out. But if they don't and say I'll have to pay an extra $30 on top of what I'm paying now, no deal.

Edit: Thanks for the link, but I can't get to sprintusers at work. Only ppcgeeks and xda.

Re: BB8330 or Touch

I have a Touch and a BB 8800. The 8800 is infinitely more stable than WinMo, a magnitude faster and much easier to use. I bother hanging onto the Touch for three reasons. 1) The BB is on Vodafone and roams on Cingular which means any call I make is an international call. 2) BB data plans are generally more expensive than for WinMo and 3) There's no Slingplayer for BB yet. I figure about 10 minutes after Slingplayer for BB is available, the Touch will be in the trash and that will be the end of that for WinMo and HTC junk for me. Oh....and I've had a fulling working, flawless GPS with a mapping app in the BB for well over a year. I don't know if Sprint cripples the BB as much as they do everything else.

So you currently don't have a data plan on your BB? I'm curious to see Sprints Curve touting a "improved browser" really performs.
