Re: PPC-6800 vs XV-6800.
Other than the color & slight button differences, the Mogul & VX6800 differ thusly:
Stock VX6800 Does Not Have ---------------------------- - "Internet Sharing" App - EVDO Rev. A Access - GPS Functionality (Beyond E911) Price Difference --------------- - VZW wants between $349.99 and $499.99 for the phone with a new 2 year contract, and a minimum of $99.99/mo for 450 minutes, Unlimited N/W (9pm to 6am), Unlimited Messaging, & Unlimited M2M. - Sprint wants $199.99 with a new 2 year contract and (with SERO @ http://www.sprint.com/SERO) only $30.00/mo for 50 more minutes, and their N/W time is 7pm to 7am. The downside is that you cannot (legitimately) access Picture Mail with a Mogul. You may only approximate it by emailing photos & sound files. Other ----- Not being a VZW customer, I don't know if you can share their 450 minute plan with other lines with or without additional fees. Sprint does not allow SERO accounts to share minutes among phones, ala family plans. Coverage wise, I also do not know VZW's roaming policies for voice or data. I know that Sprint allows voice roaming on Verizon & Alltell networks (and maybe others), with 1X data roaming on VZW and EVDO roaming on Alltell. Again, there many be other roaming data carriers. Sprint allows you to configure the Mogul between roaming and not at will, although their contract states that they can drop you as a customer if you use more than half your minutes or data on a roaming partner, as it is more expensive for them than native service. I don't know if VZW charges for roaming. I know Sprint does not. Last edited by SweetBearCub; 03-21-2008 at 11:22 PM. |

Re: PPC-6800 vs XV-6800.
Yeah I have to say I never knew or thought blue was gay also! I actually like Verizons version of the phone better. Also the buttons to me are much better not to mention the service that goes with it. Cause the last time I check Verizon service is better than sprints and thats a fact. But I'm not here to bash anyone with Sprints version just have to keep it real and say blue has never been gay. And actually most colors arent if a color of a phone makes you feel gay. News flash your most likely that way already and dont know it. Especially if its not some hot pink color or somthing like that.

Re: PPC-6800 vs XV-6800.
Ok, "gay" will offend some. Yes, maybe a better word would be "girly". Honestly on my side, looks is a big factor. If I dont like the looks and color, I just dont buy. Some say that the color is not important, it is to some
