Re: Touch vs Mogul?
I just went through the same thing.
Ask yourself what you use your phone for? and by going by your name, I'm sure you throw in a few words in Spanish words once in a while when you're texting. If that is the case you will definitely dislike the touch. Stick with the mogul. |

Re: Touch vs Mogul?
The main difference is the lack of keyboard and WiFi on the touch, but it does have twice the RAM and IMO is much more stable than the mogul ever was. I would take the touch over the Mogul any day

Re: Touch vs Mogul?
I have the mogul and the only RAM issues that I have had is when trying to load a large game like Age of Empires, if that's the case I just kill media player, or PIE, or whatever else is running. Other than that I never run into memory problems and I have a ton of apps on my Mogul. I have a 6gig memory card which I store all my IE cache/cookies/history on and I am good to go. The built in WI-FI and keyboard are awesome..i don't use the Wi-Fi all that much but it is nice if I need to turn it into a Wi-Fi router, which has come in handy a few times already..for me I would rather have all the resources and only use them once in a while rather than have less resources and miss them...oh yeah and don't forget the Mogul has a working GPS as of right now..where I think the touch is still waiting...

Re: Touch vs Mogul?
Check this out http://www.htc.com/www/product.aspx?id=362. I also saw 128MB for tha touch on another site. But this is the htc touch site. Can htc be giving bogus info about the touch?

Re: Touch vs Mogul?
there are major differences between the gsm touch and the cdma touch, they ARE NOT Tthe same phones. The Cdma ones(i.e. sprint touch, alltel touch) have more "balls" so to speak then the gsm version.(tmobile)

Re: Touch vs Mogul?
Take the Touch. Having had both, I can tell you the Touch is a definate step up. The Touch doesn't do GPS or Rev A right now, but it will eventually. In the meantime, the Touch has 128mb of memory so you don't have to constantly play memory manager. This being opposed to the Mogul which will never have more than that pitiful 64mb everyone constantly complains about. The Touch form is also MUCH nicer than the Mogul's...it's thinner and much lighter. Personally, it took two or three days to get used to the on-screen keyboard and now I type faster on the Touch than I did on the Mogul. Finally, wifi wasn't much faster than EVDO since the Mogul can't keep up with it. I never used it, therefore, and it was no loss whatsoever.
