Evo vs IPhone 4 (lil story)

I just wanted to share this lil story with my fellow Evo community. I'm at work right now, I'm a QA supervisor at a food processing plant, anyways one of my workers who just got the iPhone 4 was on break and came over cuz he wanted to show me a video on YouTube, so after waiting a minute for it to load and it still didn't load I pulled out my Evo and said here let's use a real phone, he typed in what be wanted an almost INSTANTLY loaded right away!!! He was amazed!!!! One win for the good guys!!!! Lol!!

lol he didnt see the light. Hes still gonna go around flashing that eye candy like its bling bling. Further more, is there a youtube app in the market that doesnt suck? My stock evo youtube app sucks it pretty much acts like its disneytube or something. I was looking up the song my d!ck the other day and found out perental controls are set so I cant get anything profane. Well I signed into the youtube app and it still would highlight it so I can change the rules. Bascily the stock evo youtube app is pg13 or worce, so is there another one in the market that isnt like this? I mean come on its not like youtube has to many things on it as is that dont make it seem like the FCC conrtroles it lol.

I'm sure with the 600,000 plus sales of iPhone 4's in the first couple of days the Apple folks feel like real losers.

I'm not sure I understand the hatred for Apple and the iPhone here. If not for Apple, the other cell phone manufacturers would still be putting out their boring, crappy phones and Verizon would still be the totally dominant cell phone service supplier treating their Customers with an incredible level of arrogance.

I have had an iPhone for a little over a year. I got one when they first came out and almost immediately took it back, there were too many shortcomings. I believe it was the 3.1 OS that fixed some critical shortcomings and since then, I've found the iPhone to be a great device that enhanced my productivity significantly. Unfortunately, the AT&T network blows totally.

I've been evaluating the Evo and Sprint side by side against AT&T and my old iPhone for a couple of weeks. I am pleasantly surprised how much better the quality and reliability of the Sprint network is compared to AT&T for calling. However, the data signal for Sprint pretty much sucks where I am at negating some of the nice advantages of the Evo. I just ran a speed test on the Evo and am getting 115 kbps down and 686 kbps up. Since 95%+ of my need for the phone is download, that hardly is awe inspiring. I'm thinking it might take a YouTube video a half hour to load with the crappy data speed I'm getting.
