Re: What can the TP2 do that iPhone or Droid can't?
I have the typical love/hate with my Touch Pro 2. Sometimes it works Great, other times I can't even answer a call.
I'll usually get bored with the ROM I'm running and try out one of the latest. Just loaded bignadad's MaxSense and Highly recomend it if your looking for something different. So far it's pretty sweet! http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=122177 Really the only significant advantage it has over the EVO is the money I save each month on my plan(around $25/month after discounts.) I just ordered an EVO on bestbuy.com and it let me keep my current plan, so I'll see what happens, if they actually ship it, when I try to activate it. |

Re: What can the TP2 do that iPhone or Droid can't?
+1...only reason I'm considering the EVO. WinMo is a great OS, and it's powerful...it's just that it takes so much time, effort, and commitment to get running well. I'm tired of having to try so hard to have such an expensive phone work up to standard, and even then it feels like it's still getting left behind because of old hardware and the inherent aging (and really complicated?) design of WinMo. I just want something that works and doesn't need so much time and effort.

I have a real problem with phones that have "soft keys". Even just a few hard keys are always good on a phone.

With or without OTA, phone can be rooted. Xandroid is nice to learn Android on for eventual EVO move..btw, how is your sound out of that? Camera? 5 to 10 minutes time to go back and forth between each system which combined is still half as good as a fully functional Android? |

But just being able to dual boot both systems makes it a win...
