I Hate Winmo For these reasons.

1. Apps are better In android Marketplace & Apple Marketplace
2. Too many Bugs with Stock roms
3. Htc sense SUCKS
4. Facebook App. Sucks compared to Apple & android App
5. There isn't enough apps
6. Internet Explorer Sucks balls
7. No Google Voice Search Feature
8. Windows OS Cannot Compare to Android And apple.
Tp2 Definitely not worth the 600 Dollars i spent
Android Should have been on the tp2. Case Closed.

This is my first winmo phone and will be my last!. If windows had a better marketplace i would not be so annoyed.

Build your own ROM
Use one of the many shells or use the basic today screen.
Use touch.facebook.com
Use opera, skyfire, or one of the many web browsers out there
Use Microsoft Voice Command to search your phone
We do not have all their apps, they do not have all our apps, I will agree their marketplace is broader and more organized.

Windows OS is much deeper in scope than either OS at this point so inherently it will require much more work for personalization.

u should've switched to att for the iphone or another carrier for android if you felt that way then. you could've even bought the hero or moment with sprint. i would've researched more if i was gonna spend the full 600 on the tp2, but that's just me... i knew what i was getting with the tp2 and it served me well. are you telling me you did not know what you were getting? did you not even try it? first windows phone? lol

I tried it. And it was the best phone out of the sprint selection. with the best battery life and best keyboard.I didnt buy those phones because they both dont have keyboards.. I text while i drive..(not a good thing) but its much easier than no keyboard.

i take that back.. I remember the keyboard on the tp2 was better than the moment so was the battery life on the tp2

hey pink, oh i'm sorry blink... do some research next time before you post anything up...... we know our phones, the reason we still have the tp2 is simply because we tested it and found it to be the best. So please stop embarrassing all the other android users and post something great about an android, ON THE ANDROID FORUM...

4. never used any other facebook app, don't care that much for facebook.
5. what can't you do with winmo???
6. so put on opera mobile (oh wait that comes on the phone), opera mini (better than even safari), skyfire, ucweb, iris.... (how many choices does the iphone have)
7. I have voice search for both bing and google? why don't you?
8. yet everyone is bashing microsoft for trying something new with wp7. I'll put my phone against any iphone or android phone and bet it is competitive even with slower processor and less RAM.

why did you spend 600.00 on any phone??? sounds like buyers remorse.
i don't think many people would have bought the tp2 if it had android on it, especially on sprint, no SERO and sprint has the moment and hero for android.
How about you just enjoy the tp2 for what it is, the last best (on sprint anyways), winmo device.

Pretty much everything I would have argued with has been said. There are plenty of apps and custom ROMs to get the exact experience you would want on a Windows Mobile phone currently. Put in the wrench time and if you still hate it then just ebay it and move on.
