Re: Interested in helping Linux/Android development?
works on my treo pro gsm. had an error while opening the haret at first time. but still loaded android perfectly. got the touchscreen to work too and some other stuff. i'll be testing some things out and see if i can figure out the screen. i'll let you guys know later. and you guys should do things too. lets just help each other to hasten things up.

Re: Interested in helping Linux/Android development?
any updates? i have tried all possible lcd.density but touchscreen doesn't seem to work if its not what honking placed on the default.txt. was it 180? so, maybe theres another approach to this. we have to try people. I have seen the samsung i780 with android OS. and the touchscreen seems to be doing okay. I wonder what build they're using since it has the same screen with our treo pro 320x320. *sigh*

Re: Interested in helping Linux/Android development?
ive been busy this week with finals, and havent had much time to work on it, but i do remember reading that the way the kernel loads it cant load with the same resolutions like it has to be 319x320(not 320x320) but i havent had any luck with it. someone can try adding
"mddi.height=319 mddi.width=320 lcd.density=210" (210 was the highest lcd density i could get to boot) and see what happens. also you can look for other prebuilt android images and see if they load. just keep the same default.txt haret.exe and zimage. just find another "init-android" for the kaiser. let me know what happens. |

Re: Interested in helping Linux/Android development?
yeah i've been there too. but those images suggested for the files to be placed on the phone memory. not on memory card. maybe thats why. or i dont know. i'll have to do more research.
let us know if any one of you would get something. |
