Well, that kinda sucks, I have a Touch Pro now, and was thinking about getting a Treo Pro, but I don't want to have to go back to that little RAM. I guess I'll go look at best buy and play with it for a little bit. Anyone know what Best Buy's prices are going to be?? I have 4 lines ready for upgrade, and 3 more coming soon, so I want to make sure I use them.

Also, have any of the people that have been able to get their hands on the treo pro used a Touch Pro?? If so can you give some comparisons? I love my current phone, but also loved the keyboard on the face of my MotoQ, and wouldn't mind going back to that.

Re: Treo Pro on Sprint- Jan. 25

It's true. 42 ram at boot, 89 something total. They also got pushed back until 2/15, as reported on phonescoop and other places.

It's still a better phone than the 800w. If the 800w had came out say, this time last year, then 850 would be a pretty decent upgrade. It feels like a solid device and from what limited time I had, no lag or freezing, etc. I'd still install opera ASAP, as IE6 is still pretty slow compared to opera, but it's usable.

All in all, it's what the 800w should have been. Nothing groundbreaking, but a solid phone overall.

I am one of the advocates for the treo 850 pro and it looks and feels like a solid device. very productive and fast through the applications. i just took it and installed spb mobile shell on it and BAM!! It is awesome. mobile shell was made for this device in mind. seems to run very fast even with the low ram, also battery life on this phone is amazing.

That's great news! I'm anxiously awaiting. Wonder if it might still get released by Sprint on the 25th and maybe just BB has to wait?
