Re: Tether Treo Pro to iPod Touch
That is seriously some Jedi help there. This is exactly what I was looking for, some sort of troubleshooting guide.
I walked through most of this then realized what I was doing wrong. I was entering the password I set up on the Treo as the password on my iPod. Turns out it was looking for the WHOLE KEY, not the password. When I entered in the 26 digit key, it WORKED! It's not high speed, but for what I need it for, it's perfect! Thanks again @ooxteme! |

Re: Tether Treo Pro to iPod Touch
Oh...one other thing I changed, that may or may not have made a difference, is the IP range. I changed it from 192.168.x.x to 10.0.x.x. Either way it's working great now!

Re: Tether Treo Pro to iPod Touch
I don't know why you had to go through all that just to get it to work. I have a Treo Pro with wmwifirouter and an iPod Touch and i've never had to do anything other than set up wmwifirouter with an SSID and WEP key and that's it.
I never messed with any reg keys or edits. Odd indeed. Anyway glad it's fine for you. |

Re: Tether Treo Pro to iPod Touch
In the end it was probably the fact I was entering my password rather than my generated key. I set it up on my wife's phone that way (without deleting the reg file) and it worked just fine. Apparently I'm just ratard...
