Re: Typing on Treo Phones
I adjusted much faster to the Treo key pad than to the Touch Pro key pad.

Re: Typing on Treo Phones
I came from an HTC Apache and it took me some getting used to. Maybe a month. I still mix up the shift and num lock keys and I still have to search for the num lock characters such as $, ? and /. Other than that, it's very pretty natural for me. I have long skinny hands and I find the thumb board very functional.
Hope that helps. Rockey |

Re: Typing on Treo Phones
you better start flexing those fingers! i know the 700wx had small keys and it took about 2 months before the pain went away.

Re: Typing on Treo Phones
The Treo Pro's keyboard is very similar in size to the Centro's keyboard, but without the gelatin squishy keys which I HATE! If they had put the 800w's keyboard on the Treo Pro, then I would be sold. The 800w has the best keyboard of the Treos IMO, and I'll hate to part with it when I eventually do.

Re: Typing on Treo Phones
I had a treo before my Diamond, and that's the only thing I miss, is the physical keyboard.
It is not that big of an adjustment to swap from one to the other. I do agree with the above poster, the Touch Pro KB would be a much bigger adjustment, the TreoPro is meant for one handed typing.

Re: Typing on Treo Phones
+1 for Treo keyboards. I haven't had a Treo since November 07 when I switched to the Touch, and now the Touch Pro. I'm ok on the Touch Pro's keyboard but I still fly on my GF's Treo. I dunno how the Treo Pro's keyboard is but the 800w's is like the rest of the Treos.
