EDIT: actually, I tried sending myself the link from the mms to my pushmail account, and when I clicked it in pocket outlook, it opened right up in opera mini... so opera mini isnt the issue... it seems that the palm messaging app wants to use pie, and thats the problem...

You'd probably have to do a lot of digging around in the registry to make it switch from PIE to Opera Mini. My only suggestion would be to follow the link in the first post to the original thread and post there to see if anyone can help you.
