Push Mail and keep existing Yahoo email?

Is it posible to get Push mail with a Yahoo Mail Plus? I know their are services for pushmail for consumers but they make you get a new mail. Is their a service that will work with my email@yahoo.com? Fees ok as long as its not excessive

Thanks

Re: Push Mail and keep existing Yahoo email?

Not push but you can set up your 800w to check for new messages on your yahoo account. Do this by setting up the account if you have not do so already. Once it is setup select Menu>Delivery Preferences. You can then set up the device to check for messages at a time interval you specify.

Re: Push Mail and keep existing Yahoo email?

You could sign up for an live account at mail2web and forward all your yahoo mail to that new account. It wont update emails in your yahoo account as read and it won't delete them either, but at least you'll have real push email. You can also sign up for their exchange 2007 account which will give you full html email with push for like $6-7 a month.

Thanks hit the button. I guess I'm out of luck, I could use Hotmail push, but then I lose desktop Outlook. Why hasn't Microsoft or Sprint offered a BlackBerry push service for consumers

It would be nice if Sprint offered something similar to AT&T's Xpress Mail.

I didn't realize Hotmail offered a push service, as far as I knew you could only access a hotmail account via POP.

Re: Push Mail and keep existing Yahoo email?

Would you really consider Hotmail's version a push since it is the mobile device actually continually polling for new email messages?

I wouldn't consider it push but I wasn't exactly sure what integra was talking about.

Re: Push Mail and keep existing Yahoo email?

I do think my suggestion will suffice for this but if I remember when I had it set up for my gmail account it sucked up quite a bit of battery.
