Laptop Modem??

I've searched and could not find anything. I know it was done before with the earlier models but what about the 800w?

I just want to be able to access the internet when there isn't a wifi or anything I can connect to. I thought I could just use my phone.

Re: Laptop Modem??

try this......
Get the ICS (internet connection sharing fix) on this site.
Make sure you have an unlimited data plan.
Turn off the usb connection in connection setting in active sync.
make sure the phone has a data connection, by running internet explorer, then close explorer.
Next, hook up the usb cable, then go to internet sharing, choose usb cable and click connect...when is says connected use your computer as if you had a broadband connection, run internet explorer and your phone will connect as a modem with out you having to do anything else.
