Re: Looks like 800w isnt rev a enabled out of box
Yea I saw this on a different forum, seems to have almost doubled my speeds. Some people were reporting loss of receiving calls and text messages. So to anyone that does this be on the lookout for that. I would def. give it a few test calls and messages after a reset.

Re: Looks like 800w isnt rev a enabled out of box
I have made no changes to my 800w and I am getting speed tests around 800kbps that's REV-A speeds. Watch out when changing settings this could cause harm. Mine says it is in auto mode so it makes sense that different people are getting different results depends on your coverage. I am in the DFW area where the EVDO signal is strong maybe these settings would help when in areas where the coverage is intermittent but I am not changing anything for now. Keep us posted on your results I am curious what you find. Give us some speed test results.

Re: Looks like 800w isnt rev a enabled out of box
Rev A affects upload speed much more than download. With Rev A on a Mogul I can get 300-400k upload. Before Rev A I think I getting lower than 100k, somewhere around 60k.

Re: Looks like 800w isnt rev a enabled out of box
I did a real quick side by side simultaneous speed test of my 6700 and 800w. I got 288kbps on my 6700 but I got 654 kbps on my 800w. I am using the site I posted above and I don't really trust the results to be accurate but it makes a good quick gage to compare.
