For those of you that used the old version, make sure your keyboard lights are ON when you install the new version.

If not, you will have to install the old version again, turn them back on and then install the new version.

It then works like a charm... A most wonderful piece of freeware!!!

ok, I really don't know anything about the programming side of things, but how difficult would it be to set up a program where you could set the timeframe that you wanted the keyboard lights to stay off or on, and still have overide capabilities with the side key? For example:

keyboard lights deactivated from 5am-8pm (with side button activation ability)

keyboard lights activated from 8pm-5am.

thus, when it's day/light the lights are deactivated (but you have the ability to turn them on if your someplace dark with the side key), but as soon as it's "dark out" the lights would automatically come on like normal.

Again I don't know anything about the programming side, that's just what I thought the program would do when I first heard someone mention it.....thoughts??

You can try the free CT Scheduler which basically is a UI version of mortscript.

Technically it's for smartphones but I see no reason why it can run on the PPC. Give it a shot and post your results.
