your device may not require the files to be copied it all depends on your rom...or it just may not be compatible with your device.

ok, I found out it's because I copied the 13 files when mine has AKU > 2.3. My bad for not reading the instruction proper.

now my only issue is the frozen screen that happen after typing the 2nd character/digit in the 'To' field. This only happens once after each soft-reset, and will stay frozen for a short while (sometimes 30 sec, some times 1-2 mins) before resuming to normal for subsequent message composition.

Am I right to assume that getting the MMS feature within this program is not going to be likely? I don't mind using Poutlook for MMS but it would be nice to do everything from within the program.

I'm using the Sprint 6700.

Either one of two things:

1-There is a conflict w/this program and CDMA, or:

2-The MMS settings used are incorrect.

I was able to get MMS working on a Cingular device, which means either the settings are wrong or this program was meant for GSM devices. Only 2 possible explanations.

found a workaround. Just open the palm sms app and leave it for 1 minute or so, there'll be no freeze anymore when I choose 'new' then enter text in the 'To' field.

if there's any suggestions on how to overcome this issue permanently though, that'll be most ideal!

thanks...

Ok, I downloaded an installer of this, and it opens and will send and recieve, but the messages hang in my outbox for a long time. If anyone can help me get this working correctly it is worth $20 via paypal to them.

Read the whole thread, or at least the installation process. If messages hang on the Outbox it was not installed correctly. Most likely, some files did not copy over when copying them from the Palm Messaging folder to the Windows folder.
