ok, I found out it's because I copied the 13 files when mine has AKU > 2.3. My bad for not reading the instruction proper.
now my only issue is the frozen screen that happen after typing the 2nd character/digit in the 'To' field. This only happens once after each soft-reset, and will stay frozen for a short while (sometimes 30 sec, some times 1-2 mins) before resuming to normal for subsequent message composition. |
found a workaround. Just open the palm sms app and leave it for 1 minute or so, there'll be no freeze anymore when I choose 'new' then enter text in the 'To' field.
if there's any suggestions on how to overcome this issue permanently though, that'll be most ideal!
