Anyway, the files that won't copy are tmailutil.dll, tpcutil.dll, webview.dll. I have gone into safe mode anad tried to copy the files to the windows directory and also tried with Total Commander and Resco.

No idea why I can't transfer them because when I do a hard rest and they all copy fine.

If this won't do it, is there anything that can get MMS on a non-mms phone?

this isnt mms this is sms completely different...have you tried copying all the files with the software keyboard using cntl+c then cntl+v to paste?

Ok, I understand this is SMS..

The files won't copy in ANY mode. File Explorer on Windows, the phone or wherever. Safe mode on or not.

date format issue in threaded text app.

Mal-

I'm having a strange issue since the beginning of the year. Dates for text messages are showing up in the format: dd/mm/yy. I've checked regional settings and everthing is correct there. Other apps display properly in the format: mm/dd/yy. Texts sent prior to 2007 show up properly too ie: 12/29/2006.

Am I missing something here? Is this a known problem?
Thanks!

Delete poutlook from \Windows\Startup. Also try temporarily removing the Inbox plugin from the today screen. Temporarily disable any imap or pop email checking or push email then soft reset. Use Resco or Total Commander to copy the files. If it still doesn't copy use SKTools to see what processes are loading the dll(s) and hopefully it's one you can kill then try again.

I have a small problem. After I copied the 13 files to \Windows, I get 'cprog.exe is not a valid ppc app' whenever I hit the 'green handset' button. my GSM status also shows "x" instead of signal bars.

Only a hard-reset, and a re-install of the palm app minus the file copy, help to recover the situation. Any reason why's going on?

ipaq 69xx

I have another problem. when I soft reset the device and first run the palm threading sms software, I always get a frozen window when I click 'new' and type a phone number (or any name for that matter) in the 'To' input box. The window typically freezes after I type the 2nd digit/character, and will freeze for about 1 min or so before coming back to normal. this scenario will only happen after i soft reset. Once it 'initialise' it doens't appear anymore until the next reset.

anybody face the same problem?
