Hey guys...I've tried searching for diff keywords but I haven't found anything....everything is working perfectly on my 8525 except sound notifications. I do have notifications of unread messages on today screen but i receieve no sound notification...what could be wrong?

it creates a new object under the sound notifications.. instead of setting 'messaging: new text', set the 'messaging: new message(palm)'..
that did it for me!
or install phonealarm..

I found the setting..of course i feel like a dumb ass...it was however already set with a notification...I figured i'd change the sound to see if it resets it or something and it did...working beautifully now!...Thanks
