Palm Threaded SMS Program for WM5: Beta 4 (Update 11/21)

well as far as i know i think i can install windows mobile 5.0 i think i did before it just was a bit slower.... i just cant remeber if i did it on mine or my freinds he has same exact phone anywaz thanks for the info ill try figuring sumtin out and let u guys know my endin.

BTW-
When I send a image using the app to another Cingular user they receive it as an image (not a link) like a MMS should come.

Yeah it shows as a link because of our phones, not the application. I was hoping it would be a direct download, but in Sprints eyes we don't have picture mail, so we get the link.

Hey guys and gals, This is program is working flawlessly in my PPC-6700 phone, I just got my new phone 3 days ago, a great deal from Sprint. I am loving it. to whom ever created the software, you guys did a good job.

Now, my brother has a Moto Q from VZW, and he saw the threaded sms program in my phone, and likes it, is it possible to install this on his phone? If so can you guys explain to me the process and settings to set it up?

yea its the same process on the q but there are some problems, read back a few pages and a few q owners explained issues they are having like no way to get out of a threaded text without closing the app and reopening it.

On mine (6700) I had to change the field to 6245 i believe it is, did you do that? Otherwise beta 3 on my phone was trying to send to sprint... Once I changed that and the notification everything was perfect.

I went through all the steps and have the application installed..I can send a message, but when I look @ my signal bar @ the top, I have no service..I cant make or recieve calls.

When I go to make a call, I get an error 'cprog.exe' is not a valid Pocket PC Application..

Can anyone help me with this please? Im using a T-Mobile MDA

What device? Sounds like you installed it on a post AKU2.3 device. You'll need to either remove the 13 manually copied files from \Windows or hard reset and reinstall without the manual steps.

Im using a T-Mobile MDA, I didnt check to see if everything was working before i copied over the 13 files..I know the app was showing up, but I just followed the tutorial and went along copying over..

So I should just let the cab do the work and see if all is well?

Check your build version from Settings System About.

Ex. mine is OS5.1.195 (Build 14929.2.2.1)

The 2.2.1 is the AKU level. If yours is >= 2.3 then you don't need to do the manual steps.
