I am sure this was mentioned somewhere else in the thread but if your keys have been remapped and you get a voicemail the voicemail seems to take precedent over the SMS soft key. So if you have no voicemail then it iwll prolly look like 'Messaging' and 'SMS' (or whatever you named it too) But if you have a or many voicemail(s) then it will look like 'Messaging' and 'Voicemail', in which case you need to access the palm messaging program via the today screen plugin or the start menu. Or just delete your voice mails then it goes back to SMS

I'm a newb and was just wondering what I would need to change (and where to change it) to get Palm Messaging to work on the 700wx that is not with Sprint.

if you don't have a wx that is sprint, are you implying it is verizon? If so how/where did you get it?

The WX is also available on 2 other non-US carriers...

Ok I am very confused, I want to install this program just to have the threaded messages?
I download this cab file and then I transfer it to where to install it on the actual phone?

Maybe I need to clarify something this is a Sprint Treo 700wx. Can I use this on the WX.

Does the SMS Thread work for Bell Treo's as well

Maybe Im using the search function wrong. However I've seen nothing on the fix regarding Treo 700wx Bell phone. When I go into the program folders. \Program Files\Palm Messaging is not there. Yes I downloaded resco, and its still not showing. Can someone help?

Did you read the README file??? It's all there...

Install the CAB, use TC or Resco to copy all the files from the \Palm Messaging directory to the Windows directory (overwriting hidden and ROM files), soft reset, and voila...

Pibe I am sorry I have read the readme file and I don't understand how to get the files from my PC to the Treo. It stays install the cab file, and I am assuming I copy those files to the \Program Files\Palm Messaging then I go to this Total commander and I do not see the Treo directory here all I see is my PC.
Now its clear I am missing something here so if someone could go a step by step that would be go.
I literally got the phone two hours ago..
