Smooth install, my BT seems a little more stable and holds a connection better, but thats about it. Although have noticed a possible decrease in battery life.

How ironic? I am the one that posts the update, yet I can't get the damn thing to work. It was taking almost an hour for the update to work, to no avail. So I unplugged it (even thought they say don't), however, I was still able to use my phone. But I would like to update my phone so I am currently still waiting for it to update. It has been copying files for 32 mins +. Has anyone else experienced such a slow update? I mean this is really ridiculous. I am almost scared to let it continue. I guess I should've tried it when I posted it.

It took mine 40 minutes to update. Does it get stuck or does it just get real slow? Did you take your storage card out?

late,
Coz

I did the update today. One thing that I have noticed is the improvement in signal. Anybody else getting this? I don't have stereo BT so I can't test that out. Anybody else notice any imporovements, i.e. better battery life or anything like that?

Damn,
I got sucked in...
Tried it....no work....
So I went and did a hard reset.
Back to 1.13 Sprint....hoped for the best....
didn't work again. Dangit.

Keeps erroring when I get to the Saving NV screen.

Any advice.....I knew I should have left well enough alone.
Sorry.
BTW I have Vista at home....didn't work so then at WORK I have XP and did it there with Active Sync...no luck either. Dangit.

Super Bonus...Just realized. No phone . All the MSID and number everything is GONE. Now I will be on hold......................

Final Update:
Phone was a BRICK> Went to the Sprint Repair while you wait center and was GIVEN..yes Given...a new phone. They said it was refurbished but it had everything in the box and it sure looked brand new. Not a mark or sign of wear anywhere. I looked good too... Said...thank you very much and went back and did the update. Still had a problem where I had to click continue anyway on my PC but when it ran a 2nd time all was well. I was nervous too...thought I had done in my 2nd handset....When I get home will see if my Stereo BT Headset will connect.

The updater installed ok. However, if your 3rd party apps that have hooks to the notification queue, it seems that the firmware upgrade could not handle and you will receive "can not execute \Windows\xxx" errors and you need to uninstall and reinstall the affected package. So far I have to do with the following two applications:

- spb time 2.1.5
- sk schema 1.1.7

Jeff
